Re: Playing HTC Touch Video on PC
As far as I know Windows Media Player dont play mp4 files...
You could use real player to play the mp4 files... If you want to convert them to mpeg files or something to be able to play on media player try and download a program called super. Its free and converts to alot of different files and accepts tons of input files... Here. http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html On a side note Im from Rhode Island also.. |

Re: Playing HTC Touch Video on PC
I couldn't believe this worked, but it does!
I copied a video (mp4) from my device to my laptop, and got that 2041 error. Just CHANGE THE FILETYPE from .mp4 to .3gp (rename) and run it on your laptop/destop. You can change the extention to .wmv as well, I had a warning that it might not play, but it did. Who would a thought. Hope this helps. Path |

Re: Playing HTC Touch Video on PC
I found that media player classic (mpc) works best for ALL media playback, no codecs either, go to xpcodecpack.com and install, mpc comes with it. It's also what I use to play DVDs on my laptop, it's small and compact.
