JD's Official WM6.1 Basic Premium and Full

JD thankyou for the new Rom i been testing it and it runs great I have just a short list of things I think might need attention:

touch Keyboard - auto word complete does not show the + at the right to add a new word. Also when typing using the other keyboard without word completion like in internet explorer if you type "." you get a word completion bar it annoying it only happens when you type a period.

ActiveSync takes a spot in the top bar and is allways there in your previous rom (Full) it would be running but it would not show in the top bar unless open manually. It takes precious space.

PDFViewer missing I know I know this is a lite version but PDFViewer I consider important.

I miss the call firewall

Thank you for thsi great room it is working smooth.

It is a "lite" rom the pdfviewer call firewall or whatever will be in the "full" rom as far as active sync simply on your touch go to the active sync icon tap it one time it will open then just hit the "x" (close button ) in the top right corner it will close thus releashing precious space? touch keyboard I really don't use it I never liked it it takes up space the reason its in the rom because when I originally took it out people fussed at me however I'll look into this for you

JD I found another problem when using Bluetooth Headset. It no longer beeps in your ear when you are getting a call you just hear statict and the vioce command voice is also very low. Calls for some reason are ok when I call for my voice mail; it sound good. But when I talk to a real person it sound distant and low ( i called both land lines and cell phones). I'm going to play around with the registry do you know if you set it to mono or stereo? Thanks

Check your bt earpiece I have not set anything in the registry for voice command except notifications .... as for the voice command voice turn the volume of your phone sounds up .... and also check the voulume of your bt

JD I tried everything rasing the volume in the phone and on the bluetooth head set. I've also tried a different head set both have the same problem. I'll keep trying, thanks.

what I would do is flash a stock rom and see if this continues if its not there then I'll have to see whats going on in my end .... I myself have not had this problems has anyone else?

The stock rom works (i hear beeps in my head set when im getting a call) but I can't test the voice command becuase the stock comes with another voice command program. Do you have a cab for the one you used in your rom, I will also later try installing the stock rom with 6.1 to see if works.

It takes up space because WkTask is showing it. You have 2 choices.
1. Auto-hide it from WkTask
Tap&Hold on "ActiveSync" that appears in the top bar, select "Settings for ActiveSync", then "Always Hide".
This solves the issue of WkTask showing it on the top bar, although it will remain open, and it will still show on the QuickMenu as a running program.

2. Auto-Close through QuickMenu.
Select Start> QuickMenu> Option
At the bottom of the 1st tab in QuickMenu is the option to "Auto Close ActiveSync", just check the box and hit "OK".
