let's see if turning off the today timeout helps the OP. I didn't see you offer any solutions.

It might also have to do with the area you are in and when your phone auto updates the time.

I visited my parents over Thanksgiving and could not get my clock to display the right time, no matter how many times I manually set it. Every time it connected to data the time would jump ahead an hour, almost like the Sprint Tower in the area had not adjusted for DST correctly. I almost called Sprint about it, but figured I would be out of there in a week anyway, so just lived with it. The funny thing is that my wife's LG Fusic kept correct time the entire trip. As soon as we got out of that area and into a more metropolitan area my time worked again.

The OP could try tapping his ruby shoes together three times as well. Your suggestion makes zero sense. Let it go.

Just a thought as this was my mistake. Did you change the time zone setting? Even if you manually change the clock it will get the time from the tower and then adjust to your time zone setting. If you have altered nothing then all you have to do is click on the clock and choose the visiting option and select the time zone you are in. I think they do this because a lot of people travel a lot and don't want their apps being set to new times as they move around all day.

But still, get over it and be the bigger man. Let it go and move on was his point even if it was a little blunt.

Sorry thats the moderater nature in me kicking in, but I think you get the point.

Try this: Turn off 'time synchronization'. This option can be found under 'menu' when in the dialer, then click 'options', then the 'services' tab.

Just forget he even said anything, you were attempting to help. If it don't work who cares, it was worth a shot. Just don't let him get to you, then the mods have nothing to complain about to you. Ignore him.

The thing is I was still in the same time zone, in the same state! And still the time jumped ahead an hour!
