jakdillard: please provide details on how you managed to get the radio to work on the Vogue as per the Titan "authors", it required changes to the SPL, and simply flashing that radio to the Vogue did not yield a working device.

Also, radio 3.27 on the Titan enabled both Rev A and GPS, but does not do so on the Vogue. This could be due to the tie in with the bootloader, and an explanation of how you ported the radio might shed some light on this.

By no means am I accusing you of anything and I am very appreciative of your efforts here, so please don't take this the wrong way, but your flash doesn't display the radio version anywhere so how can you be sure that it is indeed the 3.27 radio that we're running?

To be clear only increased ISP speed resulted from new radio. No GPS functionality.

Not really. There are varied reports of ANY differences in performance of this radio, and most of the claims of speed increases are "seat of the pants" based....

Before the radio update was struglinf to hit more than 240 kbits/sec, surfing just awful. Now it's very tolerable.

If the bootloader had anything to do with the radio we all would never had the chance to flash this radio .... in my first post I clearly stated that the radio does not display, it will not even give you your esn number in the device info ...... I did not port anything on the radio all I did was rename the device that it goes to ... Now on the titan they have drivers for gps and just maybe they may have updated drivers for rev a ... However rev a is still not proven to be active on the titan ... I really do not appreciate the fact that you are questioning my work that I put in I know what file I used to make the radio rom and this was indeed my reason for making it a temporary thing because I didn't want alot of questions .... I understand alot of you guys are now starting to make your own customs ... Cool!! If I can assist you ok... However when it comes to my work I have spent countless hours searching for how to's, tools, and how do's so please if you're curious about what I did search and you'll find all the answers you need. The myth was will the new 3.27 radio work on the vogue ..... I never said it gave me GPS or REV A I just said that this is the radio I'm using

Once again, I did not mean to offend you.

Here's the dilema: several of us (myself included), have extracted the 3.27 radio from the Titan nbh, and have repackaged it for the Vogue with nbhgen. And even though that same exact process, when used with other radios works fine, the 3.27 radio caused our devices to lock during the boot phase. All of us except you.

Thus I asked the question as to what, specifically, you did to get the radio to work on the Vogue. This was not any sort of indictment, but merely me trying to understand what you did that was different from the rest of us in an effort to "expand my horizons".

Maybe you can tell us which distribution you extracted the 3.27 radio from and post a copy of the txt you used with nbhgen?

I can guarantee you Rev A is working on the Titan. My average speeds are now 1-1.3 mbps down and about 300 kbps up. The download speed is doable on Rev 0, but not the upload. And that is trully a conservative estimate on average speeds. I often see speeds in the 1.5-2.2 mbps range down, and 400-600 up. There is nothing I can really do to prove it to you (I could post some screen shots, but those could easily be faked), but it is definetly Rev A.

huh? faked speed tests??? lol

It's also funny on how many people install overclocking programs on the Vogue (and Titan) which can't take advantage of overclocking due to the dualcore architecture... yet, you hear them all the time talking about how much faster their phone is.
Well, up until it gets fried anyway... lol

Explain yourelf, I simply went to mobilespeedtest.com
and dslreports and performed multiple tests...overclocking is sensless(units run warm with bluetooth as it is) proper drivers would correct the slowness.
