Running data tests, in Houston (good coverage area), indoors. Using IE.

400k download test, from DSL reports.
1st: 360kbit
2nd: 90kitbit
3rd: 198kbit
4th: 256kibit
5th: 227kbit
6th: 142kbit
7th: 214kbit
8th: 333kbit
9th: 319kbit
10th: 220kbit

All and all about standard benching. The jumping up and down seem to be the normal for me indoors where I live. Nothing suggests any difference in reception, or speed.

The dl speed won't be as easy to tell if it's rev. A as the ul speed would be. That's why someone earlier in the thread suggested tethering and seeing what the ul speed is. I'll be trying that when I get home tonight. I'm dying to get rev. A and gps working.

Isn't Rev A supposed to enable data & voice at the same time? I think a good test to see if Rev A is active would be to download a file with IE and while it's downloading, try to call your phone. If the call goes through, then Rev A is active otherwise it goes to the voicemail or your download fails

I didn't notice any speed improvement or signal improvement.

A simple text speed test loading a 340,781 byte file from Host Rocket server.
Before averaged 12.963 seconds
After flash, I averaged 12.445 seconds
I tested 5 times each...

For Signal using FieldTrial.exe
no real change in these readings:
RxPower range -89dbm to -97dbm
Rx Ec/Io 63 db (no change)

Anyword on that original Touch Radio?

If you want to go ahead and flash my rom and I will try to post a radio tonight or you can go over to xda-developers dcd has the 2.13 radio posted there
