I believe the Mobile version of Windows Live Messenger does not have the capability of IMing Yahoo! contacts.

I'm not saying that they are lying, maybe they are confusing it with the Windows Live Messenger Mobile Web version found at http://mobile.live.com (from your device).
I was just saying I have never seen a Yahoo! contact on my Windows Live Mobile Messenger, as it is, the service is very flaky... I was getting ready to run some tests and I signed on my Yahoo! account. While my Windows Live screen name shows online on my Yahoo! contacts list, my Yahoo! screen name does not show online on my Windows Live contacts list. I could send messages back and forth, but it displayed as if the Yahoo! contact was invisible or appear offline. Also, from this quote... Quote:
I use this all the time, my friends IM me from their computer, I get a text message (usually from weird numbers, like 56000081) that has their e-mail, nickname, and message; then reply to that weird number and they will get it on their PC. |
