They say the Titan radio is tied to the bootloader, so until we get 2.XX, we can forget about the radio...

I did get the radio to install. The touch would go past the bootloder and post firmwarwe and software revisions and then hang. I can send you what I have. I did recover very easily when flashing the stock radio. Not sure if the radio is referencing something in the original rom on the mogal or if I missed something to do with the camara bootloader on the touch........

I've seen multiple references stating that the radio update was tied to the bootloader and could not be installed without a new SPL, but then I found jakdillard's post stating that he successfully installed and was using the radio.

With that said, I had a flashback to the old Trinity and Hermes days where we were able to get a GPS data stream via mtty bypassing the OS.

Made a cooked 6.1 rom with jakdillard 3.27 radio and all the gps drivers from the titan. Boots and works fine, but still no gps.

Guess we're still stuck until we get an updated SPL...

I tried the Titan radio a couple days ago when it was posted.
After several before and after speed test, and data given by fieldtrial.exe I saw no improvement on my touch. The only ill effect I saw was the 'no radio' in the bootloader screen.
I have since reflashed the original radio and am currently patiently awaiting the official or 'official leaked' released of the radio for the Touch.

It's a shame we're so locked out. The Touch is selling like wildfire and this would only help.
