can't we all just get along...
 on a serious note....so if I understand correctly (which I'm probably not) the steps are to get "free internet' using my sprint touch as a modem is 1. Open my internet connection 3. Start ICS (which I haven't figured out how to do yet....can someone explain?) 2. Plug in my phone to my laptop via usb cable (my bluetooth on my phone AND laptop are both on & I have activesync on it) 3. Voila I should be able to surf? You should have an app in your programs folder called "Internet Sharing" (ICS=Internet Connection Sharing). Select the appropriate drop down boxes for USB or Bluetooth, and select Sprint PCS as your network connection. If using over BT, your computer must support the PAN (personal area network) profile. There are lots of threads with in depth explanations. Search for "tether," "tethering," etc.
