Alltel Touch Has Pic Mail, Why Not Sprints?

I thought WM6 devices didn't support this and that is why the Sprint Touch doesn't. But its been confirmed that the Attel Touch can handle picture mail so is it a carrier issue or a WM6 issue. I mean I'm pretty sure both touches have the same hardware so couldn't that be applied to Sprints touch to allow picture mail? Someone please let me know if I'm miss informed.

Already know and read through this tread and this is not what I'm looking for. This only gives you the power to send them but not receive them without a link. Found out that Alltel uses "Arcsofts MMS Composer" but it seems like there isn't a way of downloading it from their page at least that I could see. Don't really want to flash my rom with an Alltel one for this feature but it would be great if there was some way to make it work with the sprint touch.

Anyway it's been discussed many times that it's a sprint issue in the way they have it set up. MMS on our phones will send as normal and be recieved as a link to a webpage. It has never been linked to wm6 or wm5 that i've heard of.

It didn't use to be that way a few years ago, but some genius at Sprint thought it'd be better.

But thats BS though. I'm sure they could have paid lighsurf could have developed a program for the Touch. They created the software that runs on their picture mail servers.

You're right. I'm just tripping because this is my latest and only PowerVision phone lacks True MMS. My LG Fusic had it. My Sanyo 8400 had it. Hell, my Samsung A920 even had it! LOL

Yeah my fusic had it too..... thats why its sad to see that I don't have it on my touch.
