I am having trouble downloading Vista Cube 2.0, When i click the file to open on my computer it only will save it or open as an html. What am i doing wrong?

isn't it a cab file? Just save it to your pc..sync..explorer your ppc folders and dump it on your storage card.

i am running windows xp, and it says it is a zip file. so i was trying to download to my computer so i could unzip, but i am no sure how that works either.

Step by Step Instructions:

1. Click on the link for the Vista Cube
2. Choose "Save" on the pop-up
3. Choose a location on your computer to save the zip
4. Click Ok to save the file
5. Go to that location on your computer and right-click the zip
6. Choose "Extract All..."
7. Follow the instructions to extract the CAB
8. Right-click on the CAB and choose "Copy"
9. Connect your phone to your computer via the USB cable
10. When ActiveSync starts up, click on the "Explore" button on ActiveSync
11. Go into the My Documents folder of your Touch
12. Right-click on empty space and choose "Paste"
13. Click Ok

Your Cab should now be in your My Documents folder on your phone. Use File Explorer to find the CAB. Click on the CAB to run it. After it resets you should have the Vista Cube.

I tried to download and this is what happens.
A window opens File download, i click on save this now, i save it in my documents
It reads as follows; File name-Attachment
Save as type: HTML document.
I go to my documents open the file and it redirects back to PPCgeeks.com

For some reason it is not saving it as a zip file.

The goal is to unzip the zip file. Maybe your computer doesn't have the correct zip utility.

Do a google search for WinRAR. That's what I use to unzip files. MusicMan's step-by-step write up was perfect so it real seems like something is missing from your pc. Remember you don't want to save the zip. Open the zip and extract what is inside of the zip. IE that vista cube cab file.

Try downloading 7-zip. It's a free compression program that will handle any type of compressed file.
