Here you go folks. Vista Cube 2.0

This cube skin was designed with the 4x3 APLauncher that Musicman and Zyphlin used in the iCube. The 4x3 design allows for 12 icons per cube side, so if you install the 4 sided cube, you will have the ability of 36 application icons.

I’m providing 4 different installs with each having 24 preconfigured icons/applications. All these preconfigured application come with the Sprint Touch, so you won’t have to install any applications to use these cube skins. I decided that the 3App Media Hub side that came with the original cube is a waste of space, so I removed it.

Just download and unzip one of these attached files I provided,
copy the CAB file to your Sprint Touch and run it. The Cab is
uninstallable, so if you don't like, just uninstall.

Update 2-7-2008
The newest version of Live Search changed it's path location. I provided a small cab file to modify the Live Search Path called LivePathFix.CAB. copy this to your device and run it. If you want the latest Live Search goto this address with your device.

hey i really like using the vista cube 2.0, however i updated my sprint touch to 6.1 with rev. A and GPS, now vista cube 2.0 doesn't work. well it works expect for the page with excel on it... any fixes i or you can do? thanks in advanced

I found a little extra time and edited Polen's Vista Cube 2.0_4 sides blank animation so that the icons will install in the /Windows/Vista Cube/Icons and Animations folders. i also edited the registry so that it will point to the icons.

I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS WHAT SO EVER!!! i just did some dirty work that polen hasnt quite gotten to yet. who knowwws what kind of stuff he's workin on. (maybe v3.0??????) lol thatd b sweet.

anyway, I Installed and tested on my Vogue with GPS/REV-A update. I have the Alltel radio and im using ghettofreeryder's rom, works like a charm! soft reset after install and b-i-n-g-o! Vista Cube 2.0 is back and ready for action!

NOW DONT FORGET THAT ANY CUBE ICONS YOU WANT TO ADD MUST BE ADDED TO /Windows/Vista Cube/Icons directory.

keep that in mind when you edit the registry to change the icons!

WARNING: the first time i went to uninstall this it didnt uninstall all the way, i tried re-installing and it said it couldnt, i did a soft reset, and it was completly un-installed. I reinstalled it after that and it works fine! just a warning you may want to make a Backup incase you need to hard reset for some reason

Any chance we can get a fixed version of the 3 sided cube with full animations? I have been seriously playing with this for the last 6 hours and it seems the only fix would be to re-write the entire registry. Now I have the complete registry save in a word doc below in a zip file. If anyone can do this I would be extremely grateful.

EDIT:: I was able to successfully get "Full Animations" by overwriting the images in the Windows/Vista Cube/Animations folder with the full animations(A0-C5.brn) but I would still like to see a simple cab installer as that is just tedious to have to do that every time I hard-reset or flash a new rom.
