Just go to settings in you start menu, then system and then remove programs. It will give you a list of programs that are installed on you ppc and just pick vista cube.

Is there a way to backup the cube settings? I'm going to customize the layout of it significantly, but don't want to have to re-do that every time I flash or hard reset. Any ideas?

Have you tried backing up all the settings of the phone, using sprite backup for example? This will save any changes you have made to the cube as well as save any installed programs and other customizations.

If you want to back up just the cube settings, try opening the registry from a desktop based program then copy the folder named applauncher. Then, when you do a hard reset you can just replace the original folder with the one you saved that has your customizations. I am not sure if this will work, I have been meaning to try it myself but have yet to do so...

I will post a copy of the registry after I get it tweaked fully. My cube has the default dialer page, a programs page, a settings/bookmarks page and a 4th contact page... It looks great... now I just need to fix the dialer program.

Whats up ppc people, I just got my vzw xv6800 about a month ago. Man you guys are super high-tech with this stuff, and much love for those who make it possible....
Right now I have the htc cube set up on my set with the slide lock and the htc hhc. I had a friend hook me up and I just copied his files to make mine work. Now I want to try to do it myself and change the icons to what I want other than the normal default's and in color like I see alot of you guys do. Its just that all the (exe. cab. blah blah blah) words throw me off and it turns chinese to me. (no offense to any asians) I hope someone can help. Thanks for your time... by the way does my phone have another name like kaiser or mogul or what????? at least clear that up for me pleeeeeeeeeese...

Yes, but I can't figure out what params I need to get a specific website to open up in Opera Mini. For Internet Explorer, I would just enter the URL, for example, param: http://espn.go.com/ would take me to ESPN.com in Internet Explorer. But unfortunately it is not this simple for Opera Mini....Any suggestions?

I have downloaded the CERegeditor and I want to customize my icons on my vista cube 2.0. The icons I want to use are in png format. how do I convert them to brn format?

You can use BrnConvert which I believe was mentioned earlier in this thread and I believe there is a link for it in the cube icons thread as well. You would then just save the png as a bmp and use BrnConvert to convert the bmp to brn.
