the best way to overcome this would be to find out what is calling for data. a weather app/ maybe a rss program. once you find that maybe there is a setting that would disable the "auto connect if not connected feature".
otherwise the type of popup you are talking about is part of the OS and i dont think we can stop this. i could be wrong though. cody |

As the saying goes... "where there is one, there are others..." and, you are not alone.
Perhaps it's an occupational hazard - for us, that is. Then again, there may be others out there that suffer the same insult when they attempt to either send an email message or simply make a phone call (which has been my issue). Truly, very frustrating! I'm using a Verizon Wireless XV6700, with Rob's MW 6.0 Professional.... and, you know, we have experienced a connection issue just last evening - where the phone kept popping into Flight Mode - regardless of how many times I would select otherwise. Talk about pissing me off...! Couldn't even get through to customer service to complain about it. Anyhow, as I said above... you are not alone! Take care.

can't remember the page, but in the touch reg tweaks/hacks thread I think someone found a fix for this!

My touch gives me network area notification (delhi) every time it restarts or randomly also.
i have to dismiss it every time. please tell me how to disable this notification. I am on almost oem wm 6.1 sprint rom. Thanks.
