HTC Touch Rotate Button Goes The Wrong Way

I usually just set my screen to be landscape in the settings window then close back to the today screen with it in landscape. I have my press+hold 'sprint' button set to rotate. I will then hold it to rotate back to portrait. After that when ever I hold the button, it will rotate correctly. The rotate button in the 'launcher' tab will also follow suit.

I'm glad it worked for you. I don't use my phone in landscape very much but it does work nicely.

It's freeware for what you need it to do. The registered version just adds a few features and gets rid of the startup splash image. You can also handle screen rotation automatically using Wisabar advance and/or Desktop, or go here.

(OT) I also use AEBPlus to assign the camera-button-long-press to toggle the screen off to save battery when streaming audio etc.

You have been a huge help. I really appreciate the time and the effort. I'm glad I followed up on the thread. Nobody had replied to my last post of January however my recent update has created a flurry.

I am thrilled with the options you provided and the last link (PHM) exposed me to some interesting utilities unrelated to my original post.

the button from the launcher rotates my screen the wrong way too, just never bothered me, but do you think the shortcut its runs executes with additional parameters that can be modified for the other direction.

AEB plus works great .assign button 1 to "single press" = "run aplication(camera)" so u can still have ur cam function and then "double press" = " rotate screen " and ur good, u can just double press that camera button untill u have the screen the way u want it.
