Don't believe for a minute that the only cause is user abuse.
I had the same issue with my first Touch.

They replaced it 6 months after I received it.
Although I have insurance, they replaced it as defective.
There was no deductible involved.

I had a similar problem. mine was more of a black streak. sprint gave me a new touch for 55$ no ?a asked. they didnt even make me take phone to sprint store. goodluck

I have a white spot that is only seen on the black screen after a soft reset. After that you can't see it anymore. My other Touch doesn't do it.

Should I get it rplaced? It's a weed old, but was just turned on Sunday.

Its not going to go away, it was on all 4 Titans I've had, and it is already on my Vogue. I'm sure the new one will do the same thing. Your going to have to get used to it or trade for a different phone.
