Sandisk today announced at CES that they will release a 12GB microSDHC this summer.

Still trying to figure out why everytime I post my ad for the memory cards that came with the Mogul and Touch I get this:
"eBay Listing Removed: Trademark Violation - Unauthorized Item" Anyway, not worth the effort. Anyone that wants a two for one special via sloppy snailmail for 10 paypal bucks just let me know. These 512mb micro cards are so tiny (physically and capacity) that you could just store a couple dozen of them in a tic-tac dispenser and everytime you want to shuffle your playlist just give it a good shake. |

I bought mine from dz tech for 89+ including shipping on the 26th of Dec. Had it by the 31st, loaded over 4g of music with no problems.

Amazon now has the 8 giger via several of their hosted stores. It's currently $89.80 plus about $7 shipping, but this version comes with a nifty little USB reader that takes the microSDHC card directly (w/out need for miniSD or big SD adaptor). And the price is bound to go down, especially with a 12 gig due out in a few months. Maybe skip 8g, hold off for 12? Or, could wait for 8g price reduction, or have 8 gigs NOW! It's here...

i had a horrible experience on ebay. i bought a 4gig sandisk in the package. looked great but failed after 2 weeks. i then checked some guides that told you what to look for in counterfeits. theres no way a person could tell if it was fake if you dont know what to look for. i then contacted sandisk to verify it was fake. they wanted all the sellers information and i gave it to them. the seller was being a dick but said he would refund my money. after i sent it back he said i sent a empty package back. after a few ugly emails i let paypal hadle it. i got my money back and his account got suspended. i agree theres tons of counterfeit cards on ebay but i would say its more like 90% after reading guides and reviews.

Only get sealed retail package from eBay. Any bulk or no seal retail packaging as seller claims to save shipping space will be trouble ahead. Not only the capacity tricks, sometimes the counterfeits use slower components for the higher end product line (speed). You need to check the lot number as this usually a dead giveaway in most of the fake Sandisk card from eBay, the fake one will have almost identical printed label from the real one and you can not rely on this.
