despite the name "htc touch" or "sprint touch" the phone (to me) FEEEEELS like it was meant for a stylus. sure, they made the icons/buttons finger friendly and everything- but it just FEEEELS to me like it's LETTING me touch it, but not neccessarily that it was meant for that. for instance when you finger flick your contacts- i'm not sure about anybody else- but i've accidentally called whoever my thumb happened to land on a couple of times!! on the iphone, when i scroll through contacts- it just seems to me that it is fully aware of what i'm trying to do. the phone just feels SMARTER to me in regards to 'touching' it. i love my touch, but not as much as i love my sprint contract. if it wasn't for that, i'd rather have an iphone. word, excel, direct push e-mail on a cell phone without buttons just doesn't give me a chubby just my opinion. cheers.

Agree a lot with this. Both phones excel in certain places, lag behind in others, and are either equal or unusable still in more.
It really comes down to what you're hoping to use it for the most. I think few reasonable people would say that the Touch is hands down better than the iphone all around. People just have issues with saying that the iPhone is hands down better than the Touch in almost every aspect
