Klurf we both agree there is no point.
To the OP there are reasons why a touch cannot replace an ipod or any other video mp3 device given a utility or the need for an extra device at a given time. The above I listed are just 2 examples. If you think you may find more. I think the traditional ipod as well as all pure mp3 video devices will become more and more out dated and un needed. However there are still some situations where they can serve a great purpose. I actually bought a nano just for the run tracker aspect. Sorry to all non running or any other geek I have offended ![]() |

I think the main thing is that when you have a product that only does one thing, it will probably do that one thing very well. When you have a device that does TONS of things, it will do all of those things adequately, but will never achieve the level of quality in one area as an "only do one thing" device.

^^^^^ music man hit the nail right on the head.
I have a mogul and while it will play video the picture is not nearly as good as the apple ipod touch, nano, ipod classic or any of the mp3/video playing devices. not to mention the amount of storage that is NOW available on these video/mp3 devices. personally i do not believe you can even closely compare the two devices yet at least.
