I would doubt the full body would cover anything more than the front screen cover on the front. It's probably just the front screen cover and one for the rear.

Either way, I wouldn't want the full body cover, because it would eliminate the soft feel vinyl of the Touch.

BTW, how thin is the Invisible Shield compared to the stock cover?

And does it cover the entire screen cover area, or just the rectangular area of the LCD?
I like how the stock screen protector is exactly the same size of the screen cover area. In fact if you apply it perfectly, you can't even tell there is a screen protector on. Not mine, though. I got it perfectly aligned, but one small piece of dust got stuck under and there is an air bubble that won't come out. I'm afraid to peel it up and try to remove it, because I'm far more likely to make more problems.

The Touch's screen seems like it would be a lot harder to scratch than either of the other two. I've put all of my phones in my pocket with keys, lighters, etc., and never had a problem.

I tried the protector that came with the Touch and I just got annoyed beyond belief. It was gone in less than 2 hours. The only thing that sometimes makes me want to have a screen protector is the sun... but I'm very rarely in a sunny situation that would require it so that's a moot point for me too.
Remind me not to buy a used phone from you

Maybe you don't have the technique of getting it on right because I have zero issues with my stock one. It works perfectly while on there, you'd never know it's there. I don't use a case and think it's a must have. There is a little air under some of the very edges. But it has not lifted or got lint or anything under it. Even if only for resale.

I put it on perfectly. I use screen protectors on all my other things - PSP, DS, etc. But I just never really liked them on my phones so I just don't worry about it.

Oh and no worries... I don't resell my used phones...

like i said, i received the one from the sprint touch and is perfectly align just like the stock one. the screen look much better from any angle unlike the stock one which always seem to carry fingerprint and greese. is not as smooth has the stock but i prefer the feel of this proctetor much better cause it actually feel like i'm pressing the right part of the screen like when i'm typing on pocketcm or spb keyboard. i love it and would not hesitate to buy it again if this one get scratch or damage (but wait, this thing has lifetime warranty if any of those things ever happens)

Just a little FYI for anyone interested in ordering this product:

At some point during the installation, you have to spray both sides of the shield (one side is tacky, the other is not) with a water-based solution. The solution allows you to place the tacky side onto your touch and move it around with ease. However, to me, it was very easy to forget which side was the tacky one after I sprayed it, lol. While handling it way too much- I ended up dropping it onto my table. The table was not dirty by any means- but was not wiped off either.

Moral of the story- The tacky side is retardedly sensitive to micro hairs, dust, lint, and even the most miniscule debri you could imagine. Once these imperfections touch the tacky side of the shield- they are part of it forever and will infinitely be stuck between the shield and your phone (a very unappealing look). My 25 dollars was flushed down the toilet simply because the shield slipped out of my hand within the first 10 minutes of recieving it. The shield comes with a LIFETIME warranty. The warranty covers any and all flaws of the shield so long as it is ON YOUR DEVICE DOING IT'S JOB. Installation errors are not covered, and rightfully so. The person I spoke to over at shieldzone was more than accomodating and is sending me a ONE TIME courtesy replacement for free (I paid 3.99 shipping cost over the phone).

Sorry for the novel, the key points I was trying to point out are:

1) Wipe down EVERYTHING!! The screen on your phone, the table you're applying the shield on, your hands, etc. Make sure everything in site is clean, wiped down, and LINT FREE (including the towels or wipes). I cannot stress enough how bad a miniture hair fiber can ruin your day if it gets between the shield and your phone!!

2) Once applied, it really is as protective as advertised!! I look forward to my replacement and definitely endorse this product to anyone interested due to it's quality and the company's customer service.

hope this helped

I bought the full body and it didn't fit so I had to return it. I am disappointed with invisibleshield. Besides the fact that the full body didn't fit, it took 3 weeks to get here because I didn't want to pay more for 2 day shipping. From 2 days to 3 weeks for free shipping is lame. Also they give you 30 days for a refund from the date of purchase which gives you 1 week to return it. I think it's pretty shady.

I use this shield.

http://www.pocketpctechs.com/main~un...WSPDA035MK.htm

I love the anti-glare ability and the abilty and instructions to clean off micro fibers if you messup. It's a bit tricky to get on, like most shields, but the ability to remove it all you want and try again is a plus. To clean it you just apply scotch tape all over the contact side the peal it off while installing it. The scotch tape removes all the micro hairs and dust.

They're stuff usually fits perfectly. You sure you bought the correct one? Which do you have, the GSM or CDMA?

Post InvisiShield after a year of use

Before my touch I was a VZW Treo 700w user. I put the full body ShieldZone product on my Treo and was very please with it for quite some time. Based on a year of use these are some points to consider. YMMV
  • for about two or three weeks the screen on my Treo was hard to use with the screen protector. It has a kind of rubbery feeling and my stylus would drag and skip. Scrolling, or dragging cards in solitaire, were difficult due to the "drag" of the screen protector. Over time the screen protector broke in and scrolling and dragging became easier....or I simply became used to it....either way, after about a month it was a non-issue for me.
  • The product fit my Treo perfectly and protected it during many drops. There was never a scratch.
  • I liked the rubbery feeling that the invisishield gave my Treo and all my friends with Treo's agreed that the feel was an improvement over the Treo which was fairly slippery. This being said I am not going to put the full body shield on my Sprint Touch because I think the feel of the Touch is great, and not slippery at all....plus I'm not sure about the long term durability of the invisishield, which brings up my final point.
  • After a year of use I noticed that my invisishield had started to peel away from the phone in some areas. It started with just a small edge raising but over time the edge could be peeled back a quarter of an inch and it accumulated lint and dust so that no matter how much I tried, I could not re-apply it. I haven't removed the whole piece and tried to clean and re-apply but at this point I don't know how that could be done since I can't even scrape off the dust and lint from the small area that peeled up. I have not contacted ShieldZone regarding this matter either. My son has a Nintendo DS with the invisishield and his is doing the same thing...peeling up in some areas and becoming discolored and un-stickable from the dust and lint. In both cases the peeling is in areas of high use or contact. For instance, on my Treo the part that is peeling is on a corner where my thumb always held the device and my pocket rubbed against it when putting it in or taking it out.
I did order the screen protector from ShieldZone for my Sprint Touch. I am staying away from the full-body product though. Hopefully my screen protector will stay on while I have the Touch.

For anyone noticing "drag" issues and asking for anti-glare - the Boxwave screen protectors are reportedly magnificent. I do not want to compromise the functionality of the touch screen though and am hesitant to purchase. I really want the Seidio plastic skin though
