Re: Introducing the iCube

Sprint Touch 6.1 ROM iCube v1_11 fix (at least for me)

Hello everyone,

This is my first post but love this forum. I have learned so much in just two small weeks. I am a newbie but I found a fix for my Sprint Touch with the new 6.1 ROM that is working perfectly for my iCube. So far I have no issues except for launching iContacts from the dial page (that seems to lock up my cube, but this also locked up my stock cube so it is something with iContacts).

What I did was really rather simple and if you dont mind writing over your APLauncher.exe, Biotouch.exe, CustAPLauncher.exe, and MediaHubMini.exe then hopefully this will work. Please back up all your .exe files as I did for safety.

I simply copied the supplied files4gsm files on post #1 to my Windows directory and overwrote the existing files. I have iCubev1_11 installed so all icon paths point to My Documents\iCube directory.

That was all that was to it and the cube is working like a charm.

Good Luck

Re: Introducing the iCube

Hey guys,
i installed the iCube on my device yesterday, and I want to uninstall it now. I tried to simply remove the program and reset the device, but all it does is remove the icons and animation pictures.
P.S.: I have a Bell Touch, and I'm using the Cube Config Tool on it. When I install the iCube, an iCube tab replace the 6-side tab in the Cube Config Tool. But when I uninstall the iCube, the iCube tab stays there.

Anyway, seriously I wanna remove it and come back to the original Cube
Help please
Thanks in advance

Are you using the stock file explorer? I had a lot of trouble moving/accessing/overwriting windows files with htc file exp. If so, try total commander or resco explorer 08.

Re: The Cab Is Here!

I successfully installed CubeV1_11.cab on my HTC TyTNII (WM6) but could not see an iCube icon in the programs window. Is iCube really installed? How do I launch iCube? Any advice would be most welcome.

Re: Introducing the iCube

Hey guys, Ive searched around and looked through many posts but I cant find an answer. I loaded the icube cab onto my touch and then it said restart which i did, and then there are the zip files for the icons. this is where i am having trouble. I dont know what to do next. Do i unzip them and then load them to the touch? and if so where do i put them, under program files? any help would be appreciated.
