Introducing the iCube

HKLM>Software>HTC>Biotouch>CustAPLauncher>App0-App11 to change button settings on the 4th side.

Icons are found in: \My Documents\iCube\Icons

Animations are found in: \My Documents\iCube\Anim

A couple of people have said they had prblems with those icons.

Firstly, you need to make sure you have the latest version of Live Search for the button to work correctly. Open Live Search through the Program menu and click on "Menu" There should be an option that says something like client update avaiable. Tap on it to start the update process.

Search through this thread to find what someone did to fix the Word and Excel buttons. I think it's around page 4-6.

Are there instructions for Dummies like me on where to put these files and make the changes for the Carbon themes and such? Sorry!

That's a good question. Zyphlin, how exactly do we install the Carbon theme? And shouldn't the background be included?

Heh...you know. :\ I used ThemeGenCe to make it, and put it on the device. That said, I beleive you just put the iCubeCarbon(orig) file into your my documents and it should be all that's needed

Is it me, or is the carbon theme not showing up on the size of the cube that has Comms as the top left icon?

You are correct. I used the wrong icons for the bottom of that side. Sorry. I've re-posted the CAB with correct icon paths. Re-install and the Carbon will come back.

not trying to be ungrateful... this thing is awesome. just throwing out ideas in case some of them are good...

is there an animation available with no icons/text on it? i think it would look okay if just colored squares swiped back and forth... instead of incorrect icons sometimes.

then the icons/text would just dissapear and reappear... like it was on purpose.

honestly, the only time it bothers me... is the big 3 buttons, because the "iCube" is just too big and noticable.

I vote for a generic set of animation icons as well. Also, any chance of creating an animation set that works like the swipe animations included with the Pearl icon set? I think that would work very well with the iCube set.
