Quick question....

I currently have a stock Sprint Touch running the Polen Vista Cube. All is working well and for someone who does not "program" or want to mess with registries and files, does the "I-Phone/Cube" version 1.11 install as a cab file and load all necessary files, icons and the like with no extra work on my part?

Was not 100% sure which icons loaded with it, or do I have to load the I-Cube and then load which icons I want?

I also alike the "clean look" of the carbon fiber and/or black look of the today screen (clean and easy to read). I currently use the stock today screen that came with my Sprint Touch, but how can I just make it all black with white letters?

Sorry for being such a noob... and please remember I have a Sprint Touch phone so there is no confusion (or my confusion that is)!!!

Thanks for the exciting work many of you guys are doing in this thread an forum.

Thanks,

this might be a stoopid question but what is the registry path to the quick dialer, favorite contacts, side of the cube. You know the side with all my contacts pictures. At the bottom there are 4 buttons and the third one is the contact list. Im tryin to get the contact list button to go to vito funcontact and now it just goes to the standard stock contact list.

Does Config Tool Work with ICube?

I have Polen's 6-Sided Cube and would like to try the ICube, so I have two questions:

1) Do I need to unistall the 6-sided cube, and if so, how?

2) Does the Config Tool work with the ICube?

Yes I believe you have to uninstall past Cube modifications first

No, there is not a cube config yet but Guy is working on getting one soon

Yes, you can run it on a Mogul but you have to download some other programs. Search through this thread and you'll find information about it.

Uninstall by going to settings, system, remove programs.

Custom Icons for iCube

Merry Christmas Everyone,

I have finally completed customizing my cube based on the iCube and I thought I would share it with everyone. The attached zip file has all of the icons and several scripts written in MortScript which change the registry to point to the copied icons. The icons used are not mine but have been gathered from all over the internet and this site. Hopefully no one objects to this non-commercial use.

Instructions:

1) Unzip the files ensuring that you retain the folder structure and that everything resides inside of a folder called eyeCube
2) Copy the eyeCube folder and its contents to your local My Documents folder on your Touch
3) Make sure iCube is installed (tested with version 1.11)
4) Ensure MortScript is installed (tested with version 4.1) and run the scripts you want to customize different faces of your cube (there are scripts for each Application face, the Media face, the Dialer face, and the Animations)
5) Reset your Touch (you may run the Reset script to reset as well)

WARNING: Backup your original icons; to return your cube to normal you may have to either hand edit the registry or do a hard reset. I have tested the install process many times and have never had a problem but your experience may vary. You can open the MortScript files in any text editor and read through what each is doing before running to ensure that you understand what is going to happen. I have included the BMP files so that you may customize your cube the way you want.

Applications You Will Need:
1) iCube and Mortscript
2) uBook (www.gowerpoint.com)
3) Google Maps
4) eWallet
5) TCPMP
6) Weather Watcher

Enjoy!

Nice!

Very nice modifications! I would like to mix and match icons to run my chosen programs. Is this possible with the your mods and the ICube? I often see "You will need these programs..." and I often don't want them - I just want to run my own.

One of my deals is I want to have PIE Favs on one wall - I will use the same icon for all if I can change text for each - possible? Am I correct that it is just a matter of changing the .brn and pointing to a different path in the registry?

Thanks!
