you edited your favorite in internet explorer to have the name accuweather? hmm, it should work. ill check the code again, though. give me 30 minutes.

Well, unfortunately we have officially found the second limitation of the 4th side: the inability to launch favorites.

Nice work you guys!

I have the latest Cube Config. Tool (2.1) and the Four-Sided App (the one with WMP and Opera Mobile, not the one with YouTube).

My goal is to have one side of my Cube as PIE Favorites. I see the 4th side will not do PIE Favs, so I am OK with using my 6-button side to do this. With the Config Tool, I believe I can do the 6-button side, use the same .brn file (the PIE Globe) and just change the links and text.

My challenge is the setting the 8-button side to have:

Voice Dial
Camera Album
Comm Mgr.
Mailbox (E-Mail)
Something else
Something else
Something else
Something else

(1) Obviously it would be nice to have icons that make sense, but I see the .brn file has all the icons as one image. Can anyone provide me with a good source of icons to do this? Am I correct I do this as bmp, then convert to a .brn?

(2) Am I correct that the Config Tool cannot assign links to the 4th side? If not, exactly where are the reg. edits to assign these links from the 4th side of the Cube?

Thanks very much! Also, please let me know if any of you guys are close to any CABS that will make these tasks easier.

Well Music I did link favorites to Polen's 4 sided Vista cube wtih the Cube Config Tool.

Really? Hmm... could you possibly give me your registry values for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>APLaunche r2>App(whatever button is your favorite)?

man I used the cube config tool to make the changes .....
But I can only change Polen's 6 side Not the sprint stock 6side.
As a matter of a fact I only have favorites linked to that side
BTW dont have a Reg editor in my Touch yet so I cant tell you unless you tell me a different way to see them
