GSPlayer

I turned my Sirius off and went to the GSPlayer 2.8 and Shoutcast for thousands of radio stations. GSPlayer is a freeware program and does a good job. I use a FM transmitter from walmart and play it through the car radio. I like it much better than Sirius. If you live in an EVDO area you can't beat it.

I have attached a template that I found somewhere. You will then be able to access any of the xm online stations directly. I found this file on one of the ppc forums and would link to it if i could find it but i did add the AOL online channels too it on the end myself. IMO it is much better than using the xm online programs out there or using pie to lauch the streams.

You MUST conver this file into playlist formay by saving as a .asx (i.e. XM Satellite Radio.asx) file before moving it to your phone and opening it in WM as well as add your xm account info in place of the XM_USERNAME and XM_PASSWORD placeholders on the file using find and replace or manually.
Thanks you for this information! Got XM up and running on my Touch

Going to hvae to give this a go although it will take a lot to pry the pioneer inno from my truck. Nothing like being able to record xm to a portable mp'3 player.

Now if I could do the same with the touch I would trully have my all in one device.

Yes, the quality is not as good as a cassette tape connection. Also depending on the number of FM radio stations in your area will affect the quality. If you are in an area with lots of strong FM stations it can create bleed over. The FM transmitter I'm using from Walmart is a cheap one and you probably could get better results with a better FM transmitter.

Thumbs up GremlinRadio.com

Another great site that works very well with streaming audio to the PPC-6800 is gremlinradio.com

this site is for those who enjoy electronic / techno / breakbeat / club music. They play alot of remixes of popular songs most will recognize, and also feature alot of music from local Atlanta Dj's such as 3 Bad Brothaz, Dj Kontrol, and other dj's who reside in some of the biggest clubs in Atlanta. Its a great resource to hear some music, if you like dance/techno music that is.

just go to gremlinradio.com and click the button to the left that says "listen now." then you get to choose between windows media player, winamp, or realplayer, AND you get to choose your speed for better quality sound. I really dig it, and hope this helps. Thanks

Resco Radio is AWESOME, it has the best GUI i've seen, easy to use and it has many shoutcast stations, with HD available and you can also add more manually and assign them to the easy to use GUI. It also allows you to turn off the display@! now I just need to pick a way to hook it up to my car.
