text messging alerts

i downloaded some alerts and ringers for my phone.ringers work great,but when i go to change my text ringer they dont show up in the ones that are offered(only factory still)tried looking for the folder that the factory ones are in and i cant find it.

Those ringers are stored in the windows directory and must be .wav format hope that helps

don't know if you still need an answer, but you just copy and paste the audio file that you want my going mydevice/windows and paste in here, no need for pasting in any subfolder within windows, once you have done that you will see your audio file to choose between in the notifications screen for texts, voicemail, etc.

I pasted a wav file in the windows directory for an alarm, and when i go to change it i can see it, but can't choose it. anyone know why?
