You could make it into a dedicated music/video player or a standalone gps unit for your vehicle. ![]()

Re: Other uses for the Vogue

Re: Other uses for the Vogue
I loved my Vogue, but being as it dont have wifi its pretty useless without data.
And even if you loaded Garmin or Tomtom, it still dont lock all that great without AGPS. Id flash it to Android, put a buncha apps on it and keep it as a toy.

Re: Other uses for the Vogue
I'm thinking in installing Android to it but would like to try it first (microSD) if possible. I wouldn't like to get ride of it.

Re: Other uses for the Vogue
I have mine on Bell's fun 20 prepaid and i dual boot WM on root and Android Donut on 8g SDCard. The fun20 gets you unlimited data, and txt messages. I can talk on it but i don't cause voice is not unlimited, only use it as a data device. I use a custom wm for internet tethering, and android for everything else.
It's future abilities are way beyond its time, still it does suck that there's no internal WiFi built into these models.

Re: Other uses for the Vogue
Ooooooo, this thread just got interesting! Very much looking for the answer to THAT one! Cause if you could BT tether off a PC data, then you could probably turn it into a webcam that's always on when you want it to be.
I hope that's the case. |
