It is not free but I use Sprite Backup to get everything (device and card) backed up to my computer.

I already use Sprite but I don't back up my card because I have so much data on it and my backups would be huge (plus I back up everything to my card and I simply don't have the space). I used a program in the past that does exactly what I want to do but I can't seem to remember the name of it. It should be simple enough to find something though - all it has to do is "sync" your card with your computer and you'll always have a good backup of your card on your computer.
