Today (Home-Screen) Pictures?~?~

I've been doing some things to my Touch and decided to try and make a custom theme ... I used this picture as posted; the problem I am running into is that when I click on the START button from the Today screen, I can not see the programs' names .. only the program icon, the only way to see the name of the program or items in the list is the scroll down onto each one....I've tried doing some things but nothing seems to work ... it's just white ... ANY help is most appreciative

How about changing the background just a little bit? Like this?

Or using a theme manager to change the color of the text. White text won't be visible on a white background.

Hi there, similar question I have about the background image. When I press and hold on an image an choose to set it as background it looks really washed out as if there is a white transparency over it. Is there any way to adjust this?

Open up the stock Pictures Viewer, browse to the pic you want to use. Select menu (right softkey) and then select set as today background.

It pops up and allows you to drag around a box for what part of the image will show (if it is bigger than 240x320 that is)

Under that... there is a transparency selector. 0% is no transparency (so you see the full color image) and 100% (is more washed out).

Windows is default set to use white behind the background, you can change that with tweakers (SKTools lets you change the desktop bg color in Tuning)
