Oct 26th...

And mine did this three times today.

Grrr... figures that I'm right out of the return period... so now I'll have to go through the replacement steps again... I just hard reset it the other night and I don't run many custom apps on it... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

i ended up exchanging my touch twice due to this problem. the last time i went the store rep said they had a conference pertaining to this issue and are aware of it. he's answer was a bad batch came out. my new one manu. date is 12/4/07 and has working 100% ... except when the batt. drops below 30% it starts doing it again by design to my understanding

Can anyone else confirm this and also publish a date range?

It is my understanding that if the problem happens when the bat level is at 30% or below it will happen at any given time too. I doubt it is a bad batch and I really think that nobody knows for sure why this is happening.

It can happen at any time. Who knows what the problem is, really, but HTC and Sprint better figure this out. Mine worked great for about a month and a half but this behavior did show itself eventually.
