I didn't try to correlate battery being low or not. It even was flakey on me after a fresh boot and put on charger over night and next morning it was locked up.
I suspect it's the Quick Menu. But I could be wrong. It's worth a shot. See post above how to shut it off. It may be it throttles the CPU back on low battery. |

Just to confirm with everyone regarding this problem..... The bug is that the phone will not notify you when it's sleeping and you get a call or TXT and when you manually press the power you get (most or all) of the notifactions of misses calls/TXT/VoiceMail. This in not about the phone "locking up" and forcing you to soft reset to get it to wake.
Can everyone who is experiencing the missed notifaction bug please list the apps and reg tweaks the have on their Sprint Touch (not GSM) and let's see if there is any common denominator? I hope we can fix this as it renders the phone almost useless....... BTW I had similar problems on my Mogul hence why I swapped it...... |

I just did a hard reset on my Touch and I will keep it like that for a few days to see if HTC Home Customizer or any other 3rd party apps or tweaks caused the issue.... I will keep everyone posted......

Hey guys thought id make this my first post and chime in on this. Just for an idea on my credentials I am a Sprint Tier 2 Advanced Tech. We have seen similar issues on the mogul relating to events and alarms not going off while the device was asleep or charging. However the ROM update cleared that up. For the touch we havent seen this BUT the first thing I always look at and thats been mentioned is what additional software do you have. If possible sync your device, hard reset it and test with a friend. try phone calls then text messages. if all is good, pick a piece of software to load and test again. Takes some time but it will give a clear idea if it is the software and what one it is.
