I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the following program:
xmlContactsBackup v1.0 http://www.freewareppc.com/database/...tsbackup.shtml 1. Install program on Mogul then Backup Contacts 2. Copy all the created XML contacts from Mogul to Touch 3. Install program on Touch then use the Restore option pointing to location of the xml contacts.

ActiveSync and Windows Mobile Device Center both worked. When I plugged the touch in it wrote all my saved contacts from my 6700 over to the Touch. For some reason It transfered my friends contacts from his 6700 saved on my PC as well. So I had to manually delete about 200 contacts, then erase all the phones from my PC, then sync back with the touch. If you only had 1 phone synced to your PC it should work fine.

I had a somewhat related question: I currently use outlook and activesync to manage all of my contacts, calendar information, and files, but what about other settings? (e.g. email settings, general phone setup info). Is there anyway to keep track of all the other basic phone settings in the event of a hard reset?
