weird a** texts from a 9114 number????

I read on another forum (SprintUsers maybe???) yesterday about the issue and what the fix was (it worked for me)...if you uninstall OZ while you are still signed in to the app, you will get those texts as the server tries to poll AIM and Yahoo for messages and can't find the app on your phone to talk to. The fix is to reinstall the app, sign in to the services, make SURE that you sign out of each one, then uninstall the app. This is what fixed it for me.

i have been gettin the same type of texts but i dont think it has anything to do with the im or email programs because i dont use any of them since i updated to the 6.1 when it first came out but it wont let you text back either to find out anything soo idk but that wierd i thought i was the only one!

I got a few of these and then I went onto sprint to "block" texts from 9114. I haven't gotten anymore since. I don't know if it's because I rebooted the phone, blocked it, or because they just stopped.

received 4 msgs from 9114 after swapping phones (less than 24h) went back to old phone & started receiving the msgs.

1) went online to account & blocked the number
2) called cust care to block 9114 on all lines.

I'm receiving these texts too. So I went online and sent an email to myself and sure enough, the 9114 message appear again. So I sent another email to myself and I got the 9114 message again. I did use sprint email application on my Centro. Then I just switch to the Touch Pro 2 without doing any changes on my Centro. Now, I will be able to know whenever I have a new email coming in which then I will log on to check since I didn't want to save my password for the email on my tp2.
