Couple Opera Mini 4 questions....

I just installed this and love it so far. Few questions though.

I keep getting this error when browsing, "A MIDlet thread threw an uncaught exception"... How do I fix this? Would switching to Opera Mini 3 fix this?

Thanks guys

Is it just an Opera Mini 4 thing, or does Mini 3 do it too?

I have a problem with Opera 4 as well. It crashes the phone. I reverted back to Opera 8.65 mobile.

You can fix all the issues with opera mini 4. Much nicer than opera Mobile 8.65

No crashes, full screen, cookies and bold fonts.

You need to update the Java Midlet Manager

Send a message via AIM to Ya Boi D
These directions should help.....from Treocentral :

Setup In brief:
1. Get the java CAB, put together by XDA's Cloudyfa, here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5&postcount=24
(Must be Registered at XDA-Developers to download it)

2. Navigate in PIE to http://mini.opera.com and get the for the download link, follow the installation procedure.

3. Start Menu Shortcut: Optional (Recommended) Copy lnk file from this zip into your device's \Windows\Start Menu\Programs directory.

4. Remove Connection Popup: Optional (Recommended) Follow the instructions in this post.

Tips:
Add Google to the Search!! Click On the Search field, and then hit the 'Manage' softkey, hit "Add". Go Straight to the 'Address' field and type: "www.google.com/search?q=%s" (no quotes) and then select 'Fetch title and icon'. Then Save it.
Bookmarks not on Start Page? This is by design. Go into Bookmarks, and open Speed Dials, go into each and select 'Copy from Bookmarks'. Speed dials show up in the start page.
Use My Computer to Type in Favorites? YES Arguably the best new feature is the free online syncing of bookmarks. Get yourself an account at http://link.opera.com/ and do it now! I don't know how many times I've had to retype all my bookmarks upon reinstalling this app.
In Opera: Tools-Settings-> Check 'Higher Quality Images'
Mobile View is Awesome, Very simple to navigate. Left and Right to Page Up and Down, respectively. Up & Down to traverse links. Switch Off/On Mobile View at any time with your keyboard's 1 number key.
Keyboard numbers 2, 8, 4, 6 for panning Up, Down, Left and Right, respectively.
Keyboard number 5 for zoom in and zoom out.
Keyboard * to go full screen (like the third image on top pic)

Dont know how the softkey thing would work though since we dont have any.

Ya,

Nice tips. But I hate mobile view, yuck.

Any idea how to make it not attempt to dial links that have many number in them.

Like some forums have links for pages 1 2 3 4 5. If I click on any link it asks to Dial 1 2 3 4 Yes or No.
