I've actually reverted back to using PIE once in a while because OM4 gives me so many problems. I get the "Kill the midlet" error, but that's not what really bothers me. OM4 freezes my PPC at least once a day (when I use it), and sometimes when I click a text field and enter in a bunch of text (like on a forum post or something), I'll click OK, and the application will close (completely). It's really frustrating.

I'd use Picsel, but I always have cookies problems with it (only keeps me logged in on a forum for 1 page), and it also decides to close on me randomly.

Sucks, too, because I hate PIE. :/

Which version of Java you using and which version of Mini? Also which phone do you have (memory may make a difference). Mine is running pretty solid. It does glitch now and then but PIE craps out on me way more often.

Opera Mini 4 question

Bah im having issues with my shortcut. Loaded it on my Mogul np. But.. I DL Omini4 and Jbed, installed, created shortcut. but when I double click the shortcut it opens Java and shows the list of "applications", Email, embedded..ect..and Opera Mini on the bottom of the list. Im thinking shouldnt the App be in "Applications"? Is there a fix to either moving the App inside "applications" or modifying the "-run s1_" link?

I already read the how and had no issues installing in on my mogul. Is there something different with the Touch??

Ok I spent 3 hours going over my settings and all I had to do was a soft reason for it to autostart properly. Sorry for the thread clutter, plz lock/delete.

Thx

Quote:
use file explorer to browse to this file which on my device is in the Storage Card folder:

opera-mini-4.0.9751-advanced-int.jad 953b

use the navpad to highlight the file
right-click, edit, copy

browse to main memory, windows, start menu, programs
menu, edit, paste shortcut

You can now add this to the Start menu or Launcher

The latest build is 9800, build 9751 posted above still had a few bugs.

This is links for the "High Memory", US, generic version.
