I use BeeLineGPS for geocaching. I use the map function but it just shows the location of the cache and where you are without an overlay of an actual map. It works pretty well and doesn't require an internet connection since you load the GPX files into it.

Thanks! BeeLineGPS seems to be what I was looking for for Geocaching. AmAze will work for driving, so I guess this combination will work for now.

It would be nice to find some maps that cost less than what I paid for the phone...
