Thats good... one charge a day is good if you run push mail, lots of text, weather apps, chat clients, lots of browser use or any other extreme usage like that...

Once a day is good...

you do sleep each night, so just plug it in on the night stand or the couch or wherever you sleep...

This hack busted? I had been using this hack since it was posted on here. It really does work great. Following the directions including the time frame and all important file override worked like a charm. How do I know it was still working? Well when I would goto access the internet up would pop the password prompt for OpenDNS. Left it blank as usual and always worked.

However I did run into one issue. Sprint TV would not work when connecting this way.

My point is - if done properly this was not a waste of time for me.

yes i do have push mail connected. i don't text that often and i don't use the browser or chat clients as well. but push mail doesn't take a good bit of battery life. and yes, i do charge at night when its time to sleep

Yeah I also noticed Sprint TV wouldn't connect with this hack. So I changed back the dns, but left the other registry hacks.

As for the battery hack, I firmly believe it works...atleast on my phone with the amount I use it (moderately). Also I have had the phone long enough to have the battery cycle through charges quite few times before I ever tried this.

Before installing the battery hacks I spent a week keeping an eye on my usage and battery level, trying to maintain about the same usage (sorry this isn't super scientific). Mainly a day I was doing a couple voice calls, few text messages, internet, 20-30mins of Sprint TV, some gmae playing No push email or IM. Anyway over the week period it was pretty consistent, I would check the percent down and it was always 30-40% left.

So I did the battery hacks and tried to maintain the same usage. Over the week, I never dropped to 30. It was always 40-50 every day. Once it was 60% but I'll just drop that day and say maybe usage was off. I think the biggest thing I noticed is that the phone after the hacks, maintains 100% alot longer. Before I would charge the phone to 100% and even while not using it, it would drop to 90% very quickly.

Anyway, take it as you like. For what its worth, I think it works to give you a decent little boost if you are a moderate user. Someone else was saying that the hacks are more for when your phone is not being used it will switch into more of a power save mode to conserve battery and this is maybe a good reasoning why my phone is maintaining 100% longer while not using it. If you are heavy user I have a feeling the the battery hacks would make little difference.

my 2 cents..

when i manually entered the above values using total commander there was no difference in stereo bluetooth sound but after importing the actual reg file the sound is much fuller, less tinny and static is drastically reduced.

thanks!
