R u using \Windows\AudioManager.exe? That is the path I have set and it works fine. You might try AudioManager.lnk instead of .exe.

Short answer is yes, you can modify the cube to look like the GSM version. Go here http://www.sprinttouch.net/Forum/tab...s/Default.aspx and look at this thread. I posted links to the Icons that you can change the cube to look like the GSM version. I got them all from within this thread. The credit goes to storyr for his hard work.

when i read that people are installing htc's audio manager onto their sprint touch- are they able to get it to play within the cube itself like the GSM version? or is it just a music player that people are replacing WMP with just because they like the buttons better?

also, before i get waste deep into trying to tweak my phone- is it out of the question to just get the GSM version onto my SPRINT TOUCH?? like removing windows 98 completely and replacing it with windows 2000?

Great job! Any chance you can \ will post instructions on how you built the .cab file? I like the idea of a one click change to the cube skin and there are plenty of .brn icons floating around.

Everything you need to do it yourself can be found in this thread - including the original .png's and blank icon backgrounds that I included in the attachments...

The CAB file will automatically install the .brn files to the \windows directory, plus update the registry as mentioned in the post. The .png's don't go anywhere - they're provided to help people customize if they wish...

To get to the homescreen (Today Screen), simply press the red "End" button on the right face of the phone. This minimizes all open programs.

Unless you mean the Agenda view in the calendar, or if you mean something completely different. Like storyr, I'm a little confused. Could you give us a few more specifics?

Is there any way to turn the screen that has the pictures for your contacts into an app launcher? IE make the spaces for contact pictures actually become spaces for icon launching?

Anyone make a youtube icon for their sprint touch yet? Would anyone mind sharing or making a youtube logo. And whats the path to go directly to an internet favorite page? Also anyone interested in making this AIM icon to work for sprint. I want to replace it with the current one they have.

It would require all of the images to be rebuilt. There is no background that can be swapped in and out...

im having a hard time replacing brn's. it saying access is denied. but i already terminated the process using memmaid. applauncher, mediaminihub, and biotuoch.exe are all terminated.

Are you using Total Commander? or just the built in File Explorer? the built in will not let you overwrite these files. Total Commander will.

Yes, I do. Here are two that I made. one is the Gant IE icon, the other is an IE7 icon that i textured a little bit. if you want the second one untextured, let me know.

BTW, if you use the Gant ones, make sure you take "Gant" out of the name for it to work correctly.

As specified by the post, this will replace the middle left icon on the Application Launcher in the Cube.

It's too bad .bmps don't support transparency. That would open up all kinds of possiblilties! Anyone feel like working on converting gifs to brns? :-D

I didn't see this program posted, I have verified that it works with no need for further manipulation neeeded to get .bmp to .brn files converted and vise versa. Check post 463in this page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=1690429

Correct. Normally, the highlighed icon has a lighter background, but it can be anything you want. For example, on the Pearl cube, I just inverted the colors using Paint...

It would be easier on me to make these custom icons if I know which space you wanted them in. I'm working with the original cube icon backgrounds, and it starts dark at the bottom and lightens up as it goes up. Hopefully I'll be making a new "background" for the icons so that position won't matter, but for now, let me know what you want.

I've attached the Sling icon that will replace the top left button. Let me know if it works. I tried out that new bmp to brn program to make it.

For those of you who are interested in making .cabs, there is a free program found here-> http://www.freewareppc.com/download/...ncreator.shtml that allows you to make CABs. It even has a creation wizard! Combine this with the new brn creator program and just about anyone can come up with a new icon cab in minutes!

Here's a quick one I threw together. It replaces the icons for the Application Launcher with Gant icons and changes the registry paths for the buttons to these:
Top Left: Total Commander
Middle Left: PIE
Bottom Left: Comm Manager
Top Right: IM
Middle Right: SMS (tmail.exe)
Bottom Right: Email (tmail.exe)

Haven't gotten fancy with it yet, but we're getting there! have fun everybody!

I'm sure everyone has already found this, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

You can make your Touch Cube go faster by changing the registry values for:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>Biotouch> DownFPS
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>Biotouch> LeftRightFPS
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>Biotouch> UpFPS

FPS stands for "Frames Per Second" so setting each of those entries to 60 will make the cube flow very fast, almost as fast as your finger goes across the screen. Don't know if anyone else would prefer it to go faster, but I like the increased speed when navigating it. No reset required, btw.

well, at least for me.

I have been able to create an 8 Button Application Launcher for the HTC Cube!

It's quite simple, but time consuming. Essentially you have to create App0-App7 registry values in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>APLaunche r folder that work together and don't crowd each other.

Right now I just have placeholder buttons, but i will try to get one up and available for download by today.

Gentlemen, and Ladies, the possibilities just became endless.

Great breakthrough! A couple questions.

Do you think there's any way to make the page that has the three long buttons be changed to have smaller multiple ones?

Also, is there a limit to the size of the icons on the page with 6 (or 8 in your case). Not so much making them bigger, but actually making them smaller?
