im getting major lag after a soft reboot. sometimes 5 seconds, sometimes 2 mins. not sure what the touch is doing when it comes up. but i cant do anything till the lag is over. and my flash died on it. flash banners and stuff used to come up on web pages. but then all of a sudden...just stopped. didnt mind, because that would sometimes bring my PIE to a halt.

Found this thread from xda developers:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343821

And I noticed that I had this same "wave" just as the OP described: pressed the "weather" icon and there you go. A lot of guys overthere are actually using all different versions of Touch, so I don't know how this affects our Sprint version.

Any comments?

No problem with "waves" here on mine.

Had really bad discoloration issues on the Mogul... no such problems with the Touch.

I love the phone but have run into alot of problems and its frustrating.

First I got the phone. And had Caller ID problems. Had to contact sprint and they had to change some settings to allow my phone to show numbers of incoming calls.

Then my phone bricked. and i was unable to access Txt or Email. Every Link was dead. Had to do a hard reset to fix that problem.

Now When i place calls the number coming up on the other end says Private.....tired contacting sprint about this. gave me a bunch of BS. still no fix.....any ideas guys??

Wow... that's bad luck since most users report good things about the phone, including me, so don't let the issues discourage you.

Is it showing Private for every call? There are numbers that come up as private if the caller has blocked them.

The version of Esmertec jBed that is on my Touch is 20070917.4.1v - which seems like Sept 17 of this year. Only problem I'm having is a "known" one - the verisign certificate is old/expired in it and so jBed won't run the Gmail MIDlet. I get a certificate error. Cert has been imported in the certstore in WM6 but jBed must not read that.

Is there a newer version than the one I have listed?

This issue has happened to a couple of users, however, the exact source of the problem has not been found. It happened to me twice, overnight, while I was asleep.

How often does your phone freeze?

At random times my Touch begins to lag a bit, and usually the keyboard becomes unusable (1 second lag between button press and showing up on screen) and I have to do a soft reset. This has happened to me 3x now. All 3 times I had no programs running with about 37% memory used.
