Right I agree. I remember the V710 lawsuits, oh do I remember them.

But, I am a Mogul owner and though everyone "though" it might have GPS, it isn't advertised to have it. If the Touch has it in the user manual, and it doesn't have it... here come the lawsuits!

Dont know if anyone has seen this but if you scroll down the dev site you can seen at the bottom that Simultaneous GPS is included on the touch.

Tried to find what this meant but couldn't. Probaly another name ofr aGPS I would guess.

yeah I am curious about this as well. I know even if it does have a gps that is not assisted I bet V will try to cripple it as they have done on the blackberrys.

Doesn't necessarily mean that it's enabled at launch...or ever.

Keep in mind its common practice for Sprint to list "GPS" as a feature for any phone that has AGPS capabilities. The 700wx and Mogul were both advertised as having GPS when in reality they are both just AGPS.

See, I can't recall seeing anywhere that the Mogul had GPS. I looked through my manual, on the box, on Sprint and HTC websites, and no luck.

The Touch on the other hand has it listed in their product manual.

well since i was one of the many that bought it the very hour it went on sale, i can remember the fact sheet saying gps. many complained when we got them and sprint/htc removed it from the site. it never said it in the manual, but it did claim it on the site. and the brochers.

I won't get into an argument about what type of GPS or whatever, however, it is my personal opinion that this article means AGPS since it mentions the 700wx and i930... 2 devices I have used and do not have true GPS.
