yes VK is very testy, you have to make sure evrything is the correct folders, ( it took me ages to figure it all out ) ,

until i can test this issue some more i would suggest to just start of with the base kitchen first ( im downloading everything i upped to do with this kitchen to see if i can see a problem ) and see if that builds correctly
and remember EXTS go into C:\Vogue Visual Kitchen\EXT\Vogue\COMMON\Vogue_External_Packages and oem go into this folder C:\Vogue Visual Kitchen\OEM\Vogue\COMMON.

I would also suggest that after extra ext or extra oems u have added the kitchen crashes remove either the extra oems or ext and see if it builds and if it doesnt build then you probably have a corrupt oem or EXT, need to find which one it is ( i do this by just adding 2 or 3 extras at a time), or remove the other added extras which ever one you didnt remove b4. Also i do not run my extra oems thro the EXT package creator

You should not have to adjust anything in other folders until its time to add a new sys, ill explain that more later on

Everything seems to be working ok for my alien. I got a 23047 ROM with Mega Manila built and working. Woot! Now I'm working on a 23053 version of the same. Hopefully I can carry this over to my TP2. Thanks for your contributions!

FYI, the links to your kitchen and sys appear to be messed up. If you can fix them I would love to get the files.

Actually, I think your link are fine and Skydrive is just having a problem. Everything I download from Skydrive right now is just downloading a file with no extension and a gibberish name (i.e., HGG7dsaKJHD8KLHDF98dskjh&&khsdf4kjh44HKJH). But if I add a .zip file extension to it, it works fine

Okay, so I figured out the oem that was crashing platform rebuilder.
BUT
kitchen_build_rom.bat always errors.
I've downloaded both you have posted and no go at all... this seems to be the only thing causing problems is that it just wont run properly :S
At a loss as to what to do... will try and figure it out

FOUND A FIX FOR THE build_rom.bat ERROR!

Got past that error, now to see if my new rom boots.
I take no credit for this fix/find, but I highly recommend giving it a shot if you are having that error!


**UPDATE**
So I finally got a ROM built with VK, but it wont boot (Or it just takes a really really long time on first boot). This is the 23503 sys.
My guess is a bad OEM thats causing this. Are there any tips on common OEMS that might be the culprit?

Also, my NOD32 antivirus claims the Vogue Kitchen has a trojan downloader and quarantines it as soon as it's finished downloading - anyone else with that problem? The message I get (after downloading without the antivirus running) is: "C:\Downloads\HTC Touch\Kitchen\VogueVisualKitchen.rar » RAR » Tools\IMGFS\osnbtool.exe - a variant of Win32/TrojanDownloader.Zlob.NBP trojan"
