you will need this tool (attached) to convert OEM to EXT, to use make a new folder and copy all your OEM to it ( i only do the PACKAGE ones) then drag that folder on top the tool , they will be convert and renamed example:

PACKAGE_MEGA_IME_Engine_Western
PACKAGE_MEGA_IME_Engine_Western_0409

gets renamed as IME_Engine_Western_2_1_19171325_00 these go into Kitchen\EXT\Vogue\COMMON\Vogue_External_Packages folder

. all others that are not PACKAGES ie " Audio Manager Plugin " i leave as is and i just place them in the same directory as the oem drivers

New roms are placed into RELEASE_Vogue directory.

Carrier settings - i place my OperatorPKG in Kitchen\OEM\Vogue\0409 folder same folder as OEM_Lang_0409... now i dont know wether these are right or not, but this is what works for me

okay, I got the OEMS all in and they show up, but I cannot disable them? I get an error saying "Cannot disable"
Im not entirely sure why Im posting this as I can just go delete the ones I dont need, but i was just wondering... thanks for all your help though ali3n !

No worries on the help front...all good, yeah just delete the ones you dont want, thats all i do

also for those who are cooking roms with 23045 and above sys here is a patched phcanrc.dll from this phone package PhoneCanvas_3_0_32708_0 so that the scrollbar is removed from the phone screen, if this not what u use or dunno how to patch it post and i will patch for u

try restarting kitchen, restarting puter umm try cooking with only the sys then add your other oem then add EXT packages

hay all i some how fudged the kitchen or the new 23052 has a missing componite file as it does burn but wont open start menu .. i had the kitchen working great with my oems on 49 thought i could just delete the old sys and add new one, but i did that then no start menu
so i removed the hole folder and started over with the barebones on posts 1st page none of the oems but still just boots and shows and works all titainums but cant get the start menu

Ok, so it builds ok with just the sys, but as soon as I add my stuff it craps out.

The first thing that happens is when it gets to the SIP_Menu.pngs it stops, and it comes up and gives a runtime error for platformrebuilder and it needs to close. I click ok on that, and then it says in the log that it was successful (which is odd because it crashed)

And then it cant run the kitchen_build_rom.bat

i had that probluem on 49 when i put some ext files in once removed all my oems ran fine so maby that helps you

No go, removed all my stuff from the EXT folder, still crashes.

Man this blows lol. I had no idea VK gave this many problems!

well if the platform builder runs it finishes for me ,, but i have issue now as well i did something worng loading this 23052 and trying to fix .. you must change the 2.0.00.00 to something higher then 2 like 5.2.43.00 kep moduals under 535 convert all you oems for this kitchen ppc kitchen oems dont work here if youve done all this sorry im in learning mode here myself but i do say i like it here as alot of editors
