Round 2 Unofficial PPCK Build Updates 21027, 21028, 21040

Many people have been asking for me to share my kitchens as I use PPCK. I have made an "unofficial PPCK update 2". This is just a drop in and ready to build as its already packaged PPCK style.

Supported CDMA Devices:
Vogue
Titan
Herman/Touch Pro
Apache
Victor/Diamond

Sys available:
21027
21028
21032 (removed due to issues)
21040 from T-Mobile Touch Pro2 shipped.exe test

I like 21028 the best. I have not used 21027. 21032 had the direct push issue and I believe I fixed it if not the cab in my other thread will fix it.
21027 is supposed to be from HTC Rhodium. 21028 & 21032 are rumored to be from Diamond2 & Touch Pro2 devices.

Directions:
Download the device rar and extract the main rar ie (vogue.rar). Example for vogue follows: Place the Vogue_Core_Drellisdee unextracted into the PPCK kitchens folder. Place the Vogue_WM6.1_Drellisdee into the devicebases folder in projects/groups folder in PPCK. Download the sys of your choice and extract the main rar and place the Sys rars (unextracted) into the PPCK kitchen folder. The txt files go into projects/groups buildbase folder & make sure your create a NEW project & make sure you select the Vogue_WM6.1_Drellisdee not Vogue_WM6.1 etc. Start BuildOS and enjoy!!!

Note on herman: I use the vzw payload and the ppck pagepool changer does not work. Use a hex editor on ruu_signed.nbh after cooking prior to flashing and search for string 03 15 A0 03 . XVI32 is a free one. TUT is found here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=50754&highlight=change+page+pro

Ignore the first string of 03 15 A0 03 and change the 2nd string ie. 06 15 A0 03 will give you a 24mb dynamic PP.

Thanks: gguruusa & ervius
Special Thanks: Conflipper

PLEASE PRESS THANKS BEFORE DOWNLOADING!!!

FYI 21032 was dump reassembled with 21015 dsm it seems (not by me) so mrvanx reads it as 21015 but its really 21032.

Hello,

Yesterday I found 21032 on xbeta but I had some problem when ported. The g'relco was giving some error.

Anyway, I have downloaded for here and hope everything works fine.

Thanks and regards

I use wmreloc instead of greloc for everything now and no problems but greloc should work fine on these. The 28 & 32 sys had the .dlls & exes plus the modules and I removed the unneeded dlls & exes that had the full modules to assemble them.

I am facing some problem here; Unable to run g'reloc, Its giving I/O error. I tested WMReloc but this is also giving error.

Please help, I am trying this 21032 build from yesterday. I tried 21032 from xbeta but same problem.

Thanks a lot.

I had trouble with it at first as the xip seems it was reassembled from a protected dump too. Does your kitchen support direct insertion of a xip.bin or can you insert it into payload to skip the build xip portion? Send me your source xip.bin for wizard and I'll try it. I got it to finally boot on all of my devices but had a little trouble porting it.

No I will extract xip.bin in xipporter and will do manual porting.

Anyway; I have attached the xip.bin of my wizard.

Sucking at buildxip.

Re: Round 2 Unofficial PPCK Build Updates

Notice how the s2003 or s2004 is missing on xip.out (the last part of module) the original/source was done with bepe's platform rebuilder kitchen which strips the last part of the module which is why your buildxip.bat is probably failing. If you can insert the xip into your payload and skip the build xip part of your kitchen it will work for you as the xip will boot.

I trilled using 21028 on my Sprint Touch last night. I was able to get a build done twice, but I was unable to get phone service. I built with PPCK. I tried changing a few of the OEM's to see it that was the problem but got the same results. The only oem I did not change was the phone canvas dialer. Any suggestions

OK, but I don't use new bepes platformrebuilder. I am using bepes old kitchen inwhich I should do manual porting.

anyway, I will try my best, if not I will use 21028 xip.

It's in the SYS, and also the 21032 has been screwed up....I had someone check it out and they look at it for 2 minutes and saw the SYS was screwed up, someone has adjusted it to their liking and it sucks

Also I just built 2 ROMs with it and it flashes but it gets stuck at the loading screen....

Please get the real dump....

Thx and love your work

I agree and like 21028 better but have had no trouble getting 21032 to boot.
Check in your kitchen log to see if the line "inserting xip vogue_21032.bin" is there. If you haven't updated the device base the xip won't be inserted and it will usually fail to boot.

21028 wasnt available last night...cooking right now. 1 thing bothers me alot:how to replace the dlls in the builds(tapres96.dll to be exact)?I dont see the actual dll file.all I see is a dam folder with the same name and inside is sooo, imageinfo and crap like that, but after flashing it transforms to 1 dll ?what kind of brain created the .dll extention?its like a biological microorganism .also how to make generic ROM with ppck?

if you want to replace the .dll you have to delete the folder and put in the .dll file

The folder is a module....thats it

Also Drell...I just tried again....and it's stuck

I just downloaded all the stuff like 5 minutes ago and I also made sure the file was exactly like the one you posted, nothing goes wrong during build...

I'm checking the files and txt and nothing wrong with any of them....I believe it's the SYS somehow

On mine when I go to create a new project it says
Error while reading Group configuration file
[screen]=
A key with the name has already been added.

I followed the directions in the first post.

Nvm got it.
I misread the directions at the end, The text files inside the sys rar also need to go in the buildbases folder which wasn't clear.

Cooked 21018 with exact same selections, the shortcut is gone.

This is made for PPC Kitchen not a bepe kitchen. There would be no selections.txt in a bepe as is this kitchen specific. Nor would the device bases work as is in a bepe kitchen.
