Forgive my ignorance but how do I flash this ROM? I have a Verizon phone with the Alltel ROM flashed.

When I try to flash it nothing happens. It stays at 0% for about 10mins now.

I have tried power>camer>reset then flash. I have also tried to connect it to active sync then flash.

I have cokeman's unlocker spl 2.31 boot on my phone.

Is there certain steps to start this?

THanks in advanced!!!

I really don't need the GPS. I just wanted to try this ROM out.

Just so I know:

1. Power>Camera>Reset
2. Install another ROM (what ROM should I use?)
3. then Power>Camera>Reset again (after windows loads)
4. Install this ROM

???

Sorry If I do not make sense as I followed another tutorial on how to enable the GPS but thats as far as I have gotten. I've read how people say this one is "Snappier" and would like to try it. GPS really is not important.

Im not sure why it does not execute. I run it with my phone connected to activesync. Activesync then gets disabled and cokemans boot screen shows up and nothing happens.

We'll see what happens.

Re: New vogue test rom

Hmmm... I'm not sure why yours isn't working...

The process you described is what you would do if you were going to upgrade your Radio, then install a custom ROM. The leaked Verizon one upgrades the radio at the same time so it should only be half that process.

Here is what I did to flash this ROM from my completely stock XV6900:

1) Plugged into computer via USB and connected to ActiveSync
2) Ran the ROM exe file from my computer

I didn't have to use the unlocker... Nor use Power>Camera>Reset

This last time I tried I ran the rom.exe and let it sit. It started to install after about 20mins at 0%

Not sure why this happend but it's now going through the customizations
