I don't want to paraphrase, but you can take a look at this thread to make your own determination.

The "...does not contain rgu..." warnings you see in RGUcomp are exactly that...warnings. It's always done that.
The "...does not contain rgu..." and the following "Error building..." are not related.
Empty RGU files will give you errors...they have to contain at a minimum a header. It's better to have no .rgu and expect the RGUComp warning, however.
You may need to file/Reload BuildOS after editing oems, depending on what the change was. Deleting/adding/modifying RGUs is almost certain to require a refresh.

I keep a copy of the BuildDSM exe in my USER_OEM directory for this exact issue. If and when I make and RGU changes I just take the folder and drop it on the exe and I am assured all will be updated. Then I just refresh the listings and I am good to go.

I had asked a question regarding the two TF versions that are listed in the kitchen. Being I have a Touch do I need these or are these for non-Touch devices?

Last but not least your Manila 2D grey implementation...is it based on the one from over at XDA? I am trying to reconcile which implementation to use.

Thanks,
Steve

AFAICT, TouchFlo is an enhancement that is able to interpret touch-screen input and respond accordingly. An example ... if you have multiple email accounts and while browsing messages in the subject/sender (inbox) view, swiping your finger left to right or righ to left will take you to the next or previous email account listing. I also have an rss reader and when viewing stories, if I swipe in a similar manner, I go to the next/previous feed.

If you don't include TouchFlo (I happen to include 3D), then these types of actions do not work, but the applications will continue to function.

Is 3D available for the 6900? I was under the impression that since we dont have the needed driver set that it would not operate? If it does operate on a 6900 where is the thread about this?

Thanks,
Steve

Sorry; I won't be able to help you with any of that.

Essentially, I read a thread that was bashing the cube and somebody spoke up about how useful TouchFlo is, even without the cube.

I fired up PPCKitchen, clicked a check-box next to TouchFlo_3, clicked on the play button and started to enjoy the experience.

Best regards,

truncating the .dsm to 0 bytes is a better way of accomplishing that.

Interesting...so are we saying that Touchflo_3 in the kitchen is the TF3D port for QVGA? I have been tracking a thread over at XDA from Chainfire that seems to indicate they are making progress in porting TF3D from the Raphael to other QVGA devices.

Can someone confirm what is exactly in the kitchen at present?

Steve
