No, musicman got sick of modding the cube, and basically made his own cube. But, it's actually is more of a standalone today screen with integrated cube themes.

Looks like reinstalling all of the ROMs did the trick. Its stable and locks very quickly. So far so good as expected with your ROMs. Hope you consider the Diamond ROM, looking forward to it. Thanks again.

cool....I expect to put a diamond theme rom together as long as I can find one that's as close to the diamond look as possible w/ stability.

I know I’m putting myself in a position for a public beating but I have searched and read, but the problem is when you don’t know what the components are, what they do or which ones are for your phone you tend to make mistakes. So instead of bricking yet another phone (3 so far) I thought I’d take a chance and ask and hope that not everyone will attack and someone will help.
I would really like to install this rom and I would really appreciate any help I can get. I think if I had a link to the programs (roms, unlocker etc) I need, I could do this without bricking another phone.

firstly, your profile says 6800, are you try to flash a Touch? Check post #1 of this thread, it has all the links, it is very easy...

1. download & flash the official sprint rom
2. follow the steps in ImCokeMans thread to unlock w/ 2.31
3. download & flash the custom rom of your choice (run the romupdateutility.exe file after going into bootloader mode (power+camera+soft reset)).

No this rom is for the Touch, VZ6900. It will not work on the Mogul.

Hey OMJ I think it's a problem with the exchange push and the VPN. It just causes the phone to get screwy. If I have it set to sync intervals, it's better.

I think it's inherent in the official ROM as well.

OMJ, or anyone that can help... I am looking for the bubble breaker game for a friend (I use your ROM and noticed it has it). she upgraded her Q9c to WM 6.1 and the game was gone. Do you have a cab for that game or know a location? thanks.

Not a .cab, but unzip these and copy them to your devices \windows directory. Except the bubblebreaker.lnk, copy that to \windows\start menu\programs...

I've tried all of them.
The one that I liked the best (based on performance, usability and looks) was the one based on throttle launcher.

anyway, I got rid of it, because I still find the default HTC Touch interface to give faster access to lots of the functions and programs.

Yes TouchFLO and the Cube are in the Clean version.

@ OMJ - You're CLEAN ROM is amazing! It's exactly that, clean! I love it. The GPS works well and its stable (24mb pagepool) and because it's clean I can let my customizations run nicely and I don't have to worry about REMoving the extra apps that aren't there ;) I actually spent a few minutes intentionally looking for problems/annoyances with the ROM and could find nothing :D Thanks again.

EDIT: I guess I could suggest that you include .net CF 3.5 and maybe the dummy custsat.dll to disable Customer Feedback :)

hmm, well I would have no idea how to fix....sounds like a WM incompatibility.

unfortunately for non-sprint users, the generic version is the best I can do for now....I just don't have the time to create & support carrier specific roms. That's why I just made a generic version so any non-sprint could use.

As far as MMS, I believe you just need to install DCD's carrier cab:

I am excited to get this on my phone. Unfortunately it has been awhile since I modded my phone.

Quick questions. are there step by step intructions or a link to unlock and then add this mod?
I ran the coker and got the colored screen, I just can't remember how to run the actual omj mod. Please help me guys.

Has anyone had any GPS issues with this ROM? I've read of problems with IOTA and PPST. I'm running the latest stock Sprint ROM and my GPS seems a bit flaky sometimes and turns itself off and the only way I can get it back is by a soft reset and sometimes running PPST and IOTA again.

If GPS is more stable in this ROM then I will flash in a heartbeat, I've always like OMJ's ROMs.

Have no problem with GPS. I use Tom Tom 7 with autogps launcher, and livesearch; both work great. I average about 10-15 seconds to get a lock, and only rarely does my sat lock drop.

I use OMJ's clean ROM, prime GPS with GPSViewer and use TomTom on a Veriozn Touch and it works great.

IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH YOUR GPS NOT LOCKING OR FINDING SATELLITES, READ THIS THREAD WHICH MIGHT HAVE THE SOLUTION AS IT DID FOR ME:

The issue might involve the fact that you use Push Mail or Autoupdates on certain programs. My issue was that I was pushing my mail automatically for Windows Live which kept a Data Connection almost running all the time. This conflicts with AGPS therefore, GPS stops functioning or simply just doesnt get a lock on any satellites.

Read the thread above for a more indepth analysis and procedure to help you with this GPS problem.

I can confirm that, after this solution, OMJ's ROM is not the problem and he continues to deliver good ROMs. I personally use the Clean Generic. I go to OMJ because, while other are bloating the ROMs, including OMJ, he is also creating Clean ROMs. I look for Clean ROMs because I have my own personal programs that I like to use and update as they get upgraded. I don't think push mail is the one to be blamed. I use push mail all the time, my GPS has no problem at all.
But I failed to get a lock since 2 days ago for no reason, did soft reset many times, still no luck since then.

I was using Windows Live to push my email and it kept my net connection active. So far the GPS in this ROM seems to be pretty good.

I've noticed after a soft reset the location symbol in the phone app shows that location is disabled. I have to go in and set it to off, close it, then go in and set it to on. I'm not sure if GPS works with it showing that its off or not, I haven't tried. This same problem existed in the stock ROM and I think most of the custom ROMs I've tried.

I am using the custom Sprint (not the clean one) version of this ROM. I find that using Block Recognizer as the SIP I do not have word completion. I am told that the official Sprint version of the ROM does have word completion (see thread here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=34025). Any way to get word completion back with this ROM? Well it might not just be Push Mail, some people have success using other push mail but Windows Live seems to mess things up. Some dont have this issue though but the main idea is that having an automatic data connection with other programs might cause this problem.

Try figuring out if anything else that you run is set to use a Data Connection Automatically, try to disable it or set it to manual, do a soft reset and test again. Might be a long shot for you but I know it worked for me. After doing about 5 hard resets after setting up my phone exactly how I wanted it, this became my solution. Very simple.

I have the Generic Custom (oxymoron) ROM on my VZW and installed ArcSoft MMS on it. Not sure if worked before I installed ArcSoft or not, but when I select "Mark All as Read" in SMS it opens up my MMS Configuration. Any way to reset that menu option?

Also...how can I get rid of the Quick Menu hardware button option? ...if I hold the d-pad to the left it brings up the QuickMenu, so I can't scroll to the left within text or other programs.

Not sure if it's ROM related or phone. But anyone having problems with battery life. I have the location set on for GPS but my battery life only runs to about 5 -6 hours coming from a fully charged battery in the morning.

Ok the holding left doesn't seem to be happening now, not sure what it was. I did notice that every once in a while after a soft reset (or if I drop the damn thing and the battery falls out) the device description (what shows up when connected via bluetooth) changes to WINDOWSMOBILE64 (I think that is the right number) is there somewhere to change that?

For those having GPS issues, I have found that if you cannot get a lock, power down & remove battery for a min.

not sure what to tell ya about the "mark all read" issue, sound slike a bug w/ ArcSoft, as it works fine on email & txt accounts.

The hardware button issue is not part of QM, it is AEBPlus (key mapping app), I have it set by default to left long press= start menu, right long press= ok/close. These can be changed/modified or removed in AEBPlus settings.

well there are always numerous factors when it comes to battery life...ie, gps usage, phone usage, signal strength.

I do have battery tweaks in the rom, but the only change I make post flash is disabling the LED's using nueLED.

I have 4 pop3 accounts that check every 30min + exchange push, lite phone calls, few texts, and my battery usually lasts 14-16 hrs.

I have never seen this, so I have no idea....but one suggestion....quit droppin yer phone, lol
