Re: UPDATED: 10-26-2008 Super Fast/Ultra Stable/Noobie Friendly MANILA 2D ROM! CRiSTA
I don't believe you can flash this to a i760. You would need an i760 rom, This is for the HTC Touch/Vogue

I took the liberty of compiling all the add-ons into one compressed file.
These are the add-ons downloaded as of 11/06/08. http://rapidshare.com/files/16129788...addons_AIO.zip Enjoy! ~Syn |

Re: UPDATED: 10-26-2008 Super Fast/Ultra Stable/Noobie Friendly MANILA 2D ROM! CRiSTA
Overall, I really like the look and speed of this rom. I would like to offer some suggestions:
I don't like the small cascading start menu. I prefer fingerfriendly menus. I am using Wisbar and I can't seem to get rid of that small menu, even with some custom settings in wisbar. The phone pad could be a bit larger. The buttons are small and close together. Not a biggie though. Touchpal 3.5 (trial version) would be nice. I can't even get the cab to install. I think it might be trying to do something to a file in the rom. (possible the SIP list) It gets to the reset, but never adds touchpal. Some kind of A2dp toggle would be nice so that we can stream music over our bluetooth headsets. Unless someone knows another way to do it. I can't get the cab for it to install either. Update: I've tried to install Touchpal. The files show up in the program files directory, but when I reset the device, they disappear. I've even tried installing it to the storage card. No good. I'll keep working on it. Last edited by Rescu2000; 11-06-2008 at 10:06 PM. |

This is a great and fast rom. 1 problem I am having is when I connect for a data transfer(internet,Telenav, email) i have to manually disconnect or it will keep running the connection. I also miss the use of transcriber input.

Hi - just flashed this to my Verizon. One question - when texting, etc., I'm missing the larger touch keyboard-- what happened? Do I need to install that separately or something? Thanks in advance!

Also if I slide to the Programs tab and hit the All Programs Softkey it does nothing? Other then those 2 things everything seems to work good so far. Being I did upgrade from Dharvey's rom I'm going to reflash to the OEM sprint rom then try to reflash it again and see if that helps either problem. EDIT: Just went back to the OEM rom then back to v4 and the gps seems to be working pretty good. The All Programs softkey still DOES NOT work (any regedit mod for this) EDIT2: Another thing I noticed, which I doubt is the roms fault but when my phone is charging and locked with the slide to unlock app, the backround turns all black on the unlock screen till I take it off the charger. EDIT3: So after some more time to play with M2D, I learned the all programs softkey is a problem with M2D as I updated to the latest version and the problem is still here. What I did notice is if I turn my phone on from a fresh boot, and click the all programs softkey it works. If then I X out of it, then try to click the softkey again it does not load. Instead if I hold X to fully close it, then hit the softkey again, it works. Last edited by M37R01D; 11-28-2008 at 07:23 PM. |
