Diamond Rom with XDA Manilla 2d! 2.1 DOWNLOAD NOW!

Hey guys thanks for the critiques on my rom, I will be looking into the errors you guys have mentioned, although many are Manilla 2D i will try to resolve the ones from my end. When new versions of Manilla 2D are available i will update the Rom accordingly. Please bare with me as my power is still flaky because the Houston area is in shambles right now. Thanks for using my Rom!

No problem,

figured your power was probably back out not to mention everyone sleeps eventually so I found some issues and fixes for them as I could to help out as I could plus far too many people see a screenshot and think manila 2D is ready to go when it really isnt and some tweaks and work is needed on the users end as well so if I can figure something out and share the info hopefully someone else will figure something else out and post it as well (karma like thing LOL)

Apprieciate it man, i now nominate you as the thread guardian lol. As for the comment as to how mine is diferent i dont know but the XIP/SYS is mine and SBR's and i know most of the others out there are using PPCKitchen to build theres, im not. i built this for myself and thought others might enjoy it, so if you want to use it if not dont.

firstly its NOT a diamond based rom but a Manila2D based UI (ripped from the new HTC Opal phone)

Its a slimmed down, fast custom ROM rather than alot of them that are bloated with tons of stuff leaving you with the decision - use a slimmed down one like this leaving you lots of free space and install the extras you want/need or find a full ROM and still end up installing the items you dont want just so you can uninstall them afterwards to free up space

As with any custom ROM there is a certain amount of fixes and tweaks you the end user need to be aware of and do yourself especially with Manila2D whcih is more an alpha release rather than a beta where things are mostly stable with a majority of it

This ROM thus far is very usable even with the Manila2D interface with only a few issues (and subsequint fixes thus far - see my previous post of a review of sorts)

but as with anything custom you are thinking of doing to YOUR phone - be patient and take your time in selecting a ROM as doing so can screw up your phone if you or the chef isnt careful - read, ask and read some more and then when your ready to move ahead, go back and read some more LOL
