I tried installing other dialer cabs as well as the ## code fix cab, but still the codes don't work.

Hey Dette,

Overwriting the folderview.exe file works everytime for me and i've used that fix on 20273 and 20755. I did it with my sdconfig.txt once and then jusst opened up PPCKitchen_OEM.rar and overwrote the file in the manila2d OEM as well and both ways worked. Maybe you have a diff. version of that file than i do?? I can't remember if i posted the one i have earlier in this thread, but i'll post it again later when i get a chance so you can try it.

Another question for ya... I've just been using the PPCKitchen as of late, but used DogGuy's kitchen in the past... I know you said you are using VetVito's and was wondering what version of buildOS his kitchen uses? I'm curious if it has the ability to overwrite files when building like the PPCKitchen buildOS does or if just throws the error (like the version in DogGuy's) and then you have to go back into your kitchen and fix the problem manually?

Oh yeah,

On the SDAutorun issue...

I was having trouble with it running on initial boot as well... I found the issue to be touchflo somehow causing a conflict when trying to run at the same time as autorun. Here's how i fixed it...

Go into you manila2d oem and open the .rgu.... then you will see an entry that enables touchflo. Change that reg entry from 1 to 0. That way touchflo won't try to run on the initial boot and autorun completes it's process no problem

Then after the reset just go enable touchflo and all is well

Well to fix the folderview issue i just took it out of the exclude list in the task manager..
Vet's kitchen is like DogGuy's Kitchen.. I like that it doesnt overwrite because eventually when you build your ROM you have a flawless build without errors.. and it allows me to explore the ROM more.

Here is a fix for the internet sharing problem.. I hope it works.. If it does NOT work let me know! This is NOT for Sprint users.. So if you are Sprint dont use it.. On Sprint Internet Sharing should be working fine!
I dont know if this fix will work seeing as I am on Sprint and it works fine for me.. So anyways anyone who wants to try it please tell me what heppens!

Did anyone else find that the background image in the texting and email message window interferes with reading messages? It's a bubble with three lines in the background that block out you're texts and emails, so you have to scroll up and down to read your messages properly. Does anyone know the location of this image file so that we can just delete it, or is there a way to reset this image? In Dette's last screencap in the first post you can see what I'm talking about.

its called smsbgr.gif its in the windows folder.. replace it with whatever you want or just delete it

Internet Sharing is included in the Sprint Carrier Cab that I set up. I have only had Sprint, so I didn't take the time to look for internet sharing hacks for other carriers.
