UPDATED 1-08-2009 Dette Diamond Edition v2.4 Beta 1 RELEASED!

I installed this latest 2.0 update, then my Telus carrier dcd, but now ##778# or ##778 send does not work so I can't get into programming mode.
I was able to use ##778 send with your first non-manilla ROM, and then ##778# worked for version 1.0 of the Manila 2D ROM, but now neither works.
Also, ##DIAG# no longer works. Is it the dialer or my Telus carrier dcd?
Any suggestions???

It is the Dialer.. Go into your programs menu and then look in the folder phone codes.. if thats not there.. then you need to install them.. search around for the cab.. the dialer is a GSM dialer so it will not work with phone codes

Thanks for the feedback. I did install the carrier cab, but is there a certain place it should be (cut & paste)? I simply clicked on it from the file explorer and let it install, but I guess that isn't working.

I tried installing other dialer cabs as well as the ## code fix cab, but still the codes don't work.

Otherwise, this ROM is great.

I need more help trying to figure out how to get the ## codes back. Does anyone have them working with this rom?

Here is a fix for the internet sharing problem.. I hope it works.. If it does NOT work let me know! This is NOT for Sprint users.. So if you are Sprint dont use it.. On Sprint Internet Sharing should be working fine!
I dont know if this fix will work seeing as I am on Sprint and it works fine for me.. So anyways anyone who wants to try it please tell me what heppens!

Internet Sharing is included in the Sprint Carrier Cab that I set up. I have only had Sprint, so I didn't take the time to look for internet sharing hacks for other carriers.

Yeah.. Well I set up internet sharing hack in the ROM for Sprint not thinking about other carriers =\ So yeah I am uploading a different one

I found out that this ROM does not install into the Windows directory epst.exe, DMrouter.exe etc etc (and neither does the Telus carrier cab), so that explains why I can't get ## dialing codes to work.

I'm still not sure how to get these programs installed, though. I tried installing the sprint epst cab, but it mentioned being incompatible with this ROM and it would not install.
I installed the phone codes folder too, but without the exectables, they're obviously not working.

Any help?

Hey Dette, I was having the Internet Sharing problem on the older version of you TELUS Lite ROM. I tried installing the Internet Sharing Hack, and it removed the ability for me to tap on the connect button to get the Internet sharing option started. Removing the hack allowed me to connect again. Any ideas, or was that hack made specifically for the newer ROM you posted?

Oh and BTW, the Internet Sharing problem I'm having on your lite rom is that it keeps disconnecting, and I have to keep re-connecting by tapping on the connect button. just in case you needed a refresher.

Hi Dette, I have to say I love the new rom. I just put it on and got done setting up. Just like Braxton I cant get the dmrouter or epst. Its as if they are not even there. Also, is there a way to check the location setting? In this particular dialer I dont see the option for it. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Edit: Here is a copy of DMRouter if anyone wants it. At least till Dette answers. Hmm I cant get this version of dmrouter to work
