Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!

UPDATE.

Install has worked this time.

Customization running.

PPST installing.

All's good so far.

Auto soft reset.

I'm back with Bell.

GPS? FAAAAST! 20 seconds MAX for a lock even from soft reset with 6-10 satellites locked.

Hmmm. I may never use a custom ROM again.

Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!

Anyone notice the new popup menu when you click on anything in the top system notification bar?

Kinda neat actually, makes it much more finger friendly.

What is roaming guard??

I used nodata for my trip to USA and it works great... Run this and after turn off your data connection and it will not reconnect by itself... It works!

Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!

Anybody noticed that there is now threaded texting? Or is that a holdover from one of the earlier custom ROMs I flashed?

Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!

NFSFAN had the same thing, his ROM's are great but now this is the killer. What i like is that it LOCKs in less than 15 seconds the others used that much time to just find the satellites =D>

Ppl report same GPS speed after going back to a custom firmware after this Bell update... So if you really like your custom rom I think you can flash back... For me, I think I'll keep this official ROM since it looks mostly bug free (yet..)
